Thanksgiving LEGO® Robotics Camp! 🦃
Join STEAMWorks for three days of hands-on LEGO® Robotics at Bricks & Minifigs!
Campers can choose from a variety of exciting robotics projects, with new build options each day, so there’s always something different to create, code, and explore.
Students will together using LEGO® Education SPIKE Essential, SPIKE Prime, and other robotics kits, with projects selected and adapted to their age, experience, and skill level. Campers will build and program working robots while learning coding, engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork through hands-on play.
With options ranging from beginner-friendly builds to more advanced challenges, campers can work at their own pace and take on projects that keep them engaged. No previous robotics or coding experience is required, and all robotics kits, iPads, and building materials are provided.
Plus, every camper will receive a $5 Bricks & Minifigs gift card to use in the store!

Grades K–5 | Hands-On STEAM Learning & Fun!
Students will design, build, and code robots using LEGO® Education kits tailored to their age and experience level. Every project features motors, sensors, step-by-step building guides, and a user-friendly app that supports both icon and word block coding.
Our mini camps welcome beginners and experienced builders alike—there are no prerequisites, and families may enroll in one or multiple sessions. Each camp offers fresh projects and challenges, allowing students to start or continue their robotics journey at any time. There is always something engaging and exciting to discover.
📍BRICKS & MINIFIGS BEECAVE
Located in West Austin near the Hill Country Galleria, this Bricks & Minifigs location is only a short drive from the Eanes community—typically about 10–15 minutes from most Eanes ISD schools. Camps take place in the private classroom space inside the store, offering a bright and creative LEGO® environment for robotics and STEAM activities. On-site parking makes drop-off and pick-up easy for families. Those attending camp at Bricks & Minifigs also receive a free certificate to build their own custom LEGO® minifigure, exclusive to this location.
📍CIRCLE C COMMUNITY CENTER
Conveniently located in the heart of the Circle C neighborhood in Southwest Austin, this community center provides a spacious and welcoming classroom environment ideal for STEAM activities. Students enjoy a dedicated indoor room with tables and open floor space for building and testing robots. Also, parking is convenient and it is close to many AISD schools.

WINTER MINI CAMPS
It all begins with an idea.
Our summer camps introduce students to the exciting world of Engineering and Robotics—sparking curiosity about how things work through hands-on STEAM learning and fun!
At STEAMWorks, we value creativity, curiosity, and hands-on exploration. While building and coding robots is our main focus, we also include a mix of STEAM-inspired activities—like simple experiments, creative art projects, and engineering challenges—designed to keep kids engaged and having fun.
Campers use LEGO® Education kits with motors, sensors, and an intuitive app using icon and word block coding. We start with a base kit and move into more advanced kits, offering 40–60+ unique projects, so there’s always something new to discover.

🎯Daily Camp Flow:
Each day begins with a quick free build session as campers arrive and settle in. They’re invited to dive into a big pile of loose LEGO bricks and build whatever they imagine—whether it’s a spaceship, a tower, or a silly creature. This creative warm-up gives kids a chance to get comfortable, connect with others, and spark their imaginations.
Once everyone has arrived, we dive into the heart of the day: LEGO robotics projects! Campers typically work in partners or small teams to build and code functional robots using motors and sensors. We use a kid-friendly coding platform with icon and word block coding that makes it easy for all skill levels to jump in.
Throughout the day, we take time for snack breaks, group games, and themed STEAM challenges to keep things active, balanced, and fun. When space and weather allow, we’ll head outside—sometimes for snack, sometimes for movement games, and always for a bit of fresh air and a brain reset.
Every part of the day is designed to keep campers engaged, supported, and excited to learn—whether they're building with a buddy or exploring on their own!
