Hiring Now: Part-Time After-School STEAM Instructor

STEAMWorks ATX is hiring enthusiastic instructors to lead engaging LEGO® Robotics after-school classes for elementary students across South & Central Austin.
During the school year, our instructors lead weekly after-school enrichment classes using LEGO® Education robotics kits, where students build, code, and problem-solve through hands-on engineering challenges. No robotics experience is required—we provide all the training, curriculum, and classroom materials you need to succeed!

What We're Looking For
Our instructors come from a wide range of academic backgrounds and majors. Whether your experience is in education, engineering, psychology, the arts, or another field, the most important qualities are enthusiasm, reliability, leadership, and a genuine interest in working with kids.
We're looking for instructors who are confident taking initiative, leading engaging activities, and creating a fun, positive classroom environment where every student feels excited to learn.
Applicants with extensive experience working with children will be prioritized. Experience as a teacher, tutor, camp counselor, coach, nanny, or in other youth programs is a plus, but not required.
